Now, onto today's post.

When I counsel pregnant moms with a Down syndrome diagnosis, they often ask if their new baby will look like their other kids.  Only having had one kid (with Down syndrome) until last week, I never had personal answers to give.

Enter baby Caroline, my typically developing newborn.

I just showed Ellie the pictures and she couldn't tell who is who.  Although she's seen the baby picture of herself many, many times, she pointed to Caroline and said, "That one is me."

I guess I should make sure my printed photos are well organized and labeled.

  1. Congratulations! What fun it will be for Ellie to be a big sister to a little sister!

  2. Ha! Those newborn pictures are great! I have a couple pictures of Kayla and Lucas as babies and they look pretty similar. Thanks for joining in again on 31 for 21, especially with a newborn! And congrats again!
