Here's what's been going on lately....
Check out this post with a giveaway! Plus, if you purchase from the shop, it benefits my friend's adoption.
I'm on a mission to acquire some Kindles for my classroom that have syncing between the e-books and audiobooks. Learn more about my DonorsChoose project.
I wrote a post for the International Down Syndrome Coalition about Early Intervention and IFSPs. When it published, I was speaking to parents with toddlers about transitioning to special education, and I am again thankful for Ellie's school experience.
Ellie got to Facetime with her friend Ben. The online connections between families who have a child with Down syndrome is amazing.
And I'm writing, writing, writing for my National Boards.
Oh, and on Ash Wednesday, I posted on "Spread the Word to End the Word," but I failed to mention one of my favorite facts about Ash Wednesday. Although I love the Good Friday service, we opted to stay home this year, because it's not a service with childcare and Ellie's "big church" behavior isn't fantastic. What a change from her first Ash Wednesday, when Matt and I received our ashes in the hospital chapel, then washed them off on our way back into the NICU.
