My school year has been undeniably crazy. I decided to pursue my National Board Certification in Exceptional Needs Education, a.k.a. Special Ed (or Gifted Ed, but I'm going the SPED route.)
I coach once a week after school.
I have a lot of meetings.
Ellie's school day ends at one o'clock, which is a long day for a toddler, but a short day for an elementary school teacher.
This is just a public shout-out to Ms. Kelly and Mr. Ky-wle to say thank you for opening your house to my kid and making her feel like family.
Even if she thinks she's a shark. Even if she thinks "baby fish."
Lately, I've had a lot of new mamas ask me if they can still work and what that looks like. With Ellie's heart surgery, I didn't know if I'd be able to return to full time teaching.
Thankfully, I was able to find work near home and near a childcare provider.
"Wuf you, Kelly."
