Baby on a Bench.

I'm thankful that we have a great physical therapist, who helped Ellie learn to sit like a big girl.  I'm thankful Ellie works so hard to learn new skills.

(Don't worry, Daddy was within reach the whole time!)

Ellie has been sitting for awhile now, but still looks pretty surprised at her talent.

I Heart Faces is showing photos featuring the color black this week, check it out!

  1. Love the shot. She is so cute. Her little outfit against the black of the bench works so well.
    Have a great day. :)

  5. Adorable! Love the expression!

I am so jealous of the sitting! Evan just isn't there yet and sometimes I feel like PT in my state is so traditional and unhelpful.

  6. I found your blog a couple weeks ago and this is my first comment. Congrats to Ellie for working so hard to sit up. My son Peter is 5 and as soon as he could sit up on his own we started sitting him on the toilet for "practice". I know it sounds crazy but I think it helped us when potty training (he was potty trained just before he turned 3!). My name is Chrisi, I taught special education for 10 years before "retiring". We have four boys 8, 7, 5 and 4. I enjoy your updates and your photos.
